I'm very passionate about music. Hip-Hop to be exact. While some mock the genre for its often shallow messages or harsh language, I believe Hip-Hop is a vital tool to promote creativity and ensure that music continues to be innovated. This music is always changing and one year's sound may not be the next year's sound- and just as quickly as the popular sound changes, so does the creative process of the artists creating the sounds. One of the greatest examples of this concept is Kanye West, legendary musician and fashion designer. Mr. West is renowned by this point for creating a wealth of great music, and not releasing it to the public. Even his public projects have all gone through multiple phases and are very distant products from the original vision. A lot of these steps in the design process for artists becomes lost to time. The files are deleted, or never shared. Numerous artists have hundreds of songs, videos and more that they have no intention of releasing- and yet, somehow, life finds a way. Many core fans of artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti and Kanye West are all too familiar with finding leaked music from their favorite artist. These leaks do not stay up for a long usually, but are a glimpse into that creative process that we as fans are so often locked out of.
It is BOUND FM's mission to protect these obscure pieces of Hip-Hop media. From unreleased videos, to songs, to unused album art. Music is the greatest art form, and it is our pleasure to share some of that art with as many people as possible.
BOUND FM is a non-profit group. We are very small (currently 3 people) and we only exist because of support from people like you, the wonderful person reading this. If you would like to help us in our journey, here is how:
